Founded by Courtney Collier, TwelveTwntyFour Cosmetics is more than just a beauty brand—it's a tribute to her late grandfather, Robert L. Collier Sr. A man of extraordinary grit and vision, Robert defied the odds stacked against him as a sharecropper and self-made entrepreneur with only a 9th-grade education. Despite the challenges he faced, Robert built a successful waterproofing business, embodying the spirit of determination and resourcefulness.
Our summer days were spent amidst the fields, as Robert and his grandchildren harvested watermelons, cantaloupes, tomatoes, corn, and etc. Amidst the labor, Robert imparted invaluable life lessons, instilling in them the belief that they could achieve anything they set their minds to, regardless of circumstance or formal education.
In April 2018, Robert Collier Sr. passed away, leaving behind a legacy of strength and wisdom. To navigate the non-linear stages of grief and honor his memory, TwelveTwntyFour Cosmetics was born. Named after Robert's birthday, Courtney found solace and purpose in paying homage to the man who shaped her worldview during the sixteen precious years they shared together.
